Learning to draw fashion figures

I always like the bit on Project Runway when the designers get ’30 minutes to sketch’ and come up with these cool and stylised illustrations of what they want to sew. I decided to try and learn how and bought Fashion Artist – Drawing Techniques To Portfolio Presentation by Sandra Burke. I’ve slowly been working my way through the book and have progressed from the ‘nine heads template’ for getting general proportions right to the ‘fleshing out’ stage. They’re still pretty basic so far, but I’m pleased with my progress, however slow.
