Today was my birthday and we kept it low-key. But we ate LOADS.
The day started out with buttermilk pancakes with strawberries and syrup and bacon. Yum!
No lunch for us, as we ate breakfast late. But at 2pm, we started cooking paella and had a late lunch/early dinner.
After a few hours of resting and good post-dinner wine, we finished with the AWESOME chocolate cake, made by Ken yesterday. It was so rich and chocolately and delicious.
Overall, a great and very tasty birthday!
